For full-arch dental implants (All-on-4, All-on-6): No referral is required. Patients exploring full-arch implants can schedule a complimentary consultation directly with our office.
For all other oral surgery procedures — wisdom teeth, single dental implants, surgical extractions, IV sedation cases, jaw surgery, TMJ evaluations — we work through referrals from your general dentist or specialist. This is the standard practice model for board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeons, and it ensures continuity of your overall dental care.
If you don't currently have a general dentist in the Bonney Lake area, our office can recommend one. Once you're established with a general dentist and they identify a need for surgical care, they can refer you to Elite Oral Surgery.
We work with most major dental insurance carriers and verify benefits before treatment begins. For full-arch implant cases, dental insurance typically covers a small portion of the total cost, and we provide all necessary documentation for you to submit claims. Most full-arch patients use a combination of HSA/FSA funds, financing through one of our five partners, and any insurance reimbursement.
For consultations, we typically have availability within 1-2 weeks. For surgical procedures (especially full-arch cases), planning includes 3D imaging, treatment planning, financing arrangements, and surgical scheduling — typically 3-6 weeks from consultation to surgery date.
For established patients, we accommodate emergencies during business hours. For after-hours emergencies, please call our main line and follow the prompts. For severe trauma, uncontrolled bleeding, or signs of serious infection (high fever, difficulty breathing or swallowing), go to the nearest emergency room — those situations require hospital-grade resources.
Full-arch implant consultations are complimentary and require no referral. For wisdom teeth, single implants, and other oral surgery procedures, we work through your general dentist's referral. Either path begins with a phone call.
